![]() ![]() also tried pulling the cmos battery on board. thinking i had somehow botched my new bios just by opening up and messing with "live update" and "click bios II", i cleared the CMOS by putting a jumper on the cmos pins. if i hold delete i get the "entering setup." message in the bottom right but nothing ever happens.ĩ. upon powering up i just see a black screen. success lasted around 24 hours until i shut down.Ĩ. ![]() (this happened consistantly with win7 and win8 disks)ħ. but i preferred this new board so i kept it.Ħ. replaced motherboard (asus m5a88v-evo replaced by MSI 970a-g43) and CPU heatsink. pulled graphics card and started up with onboard graphics. tried starting up with each ram chip indiviually. no change so i put my old powersupply back.ģ. Thinking this kind of thing was most often a power supply issue. ![]() after having my system run like a dream for a year I started having issues with freezing up several minutes after powering my machine on.Ģ. I have been swapping out parts for the past week with no luck and seem to have landed on some kind of motherboard compatability issue.
